After moving to the Blossomwood area of Huntsville a couple of years ago, we realized immediately that our house would need some updates. We worked with an architect and a couple of different contractors to try to develop a plan that would work for our house, our lifestyle and our budget. After a couple of frustrating false starts we learned about ARC Design Build and set up an appointment to discuss a potential project. From that first meeting we felt like we were working with a different type of company. Anders and the ARC Design-Build team did an amazing job on our recent kitchen/living room renovation. When we returned from our summer vacation to our completed space, we actually had tears well up when we walked in the front door. We are continually "wow-ed" every morning when we wake up—both at the concept Anders created as well as the overall end result and craftsmanship. We were so delighted with the results of our remodeling project. With our rough sketches and unfinished concepts, Anders came up with a polished plan that made great use of our available space as well as taking advantage of the spectacular site. The team of builders approached their work with great care and craftsmanship. We liked all the sub-contractors Anders hired and we would hire them again. The team of carpenters that Anders and Josh have put together were a pleasure to have at our home. We hated to see them go. All in all it was an unexpectedly pleasant undertaking.

The ARC crew was tremendously dedicated. They consistently put in long, hard days in the cold winter air and kept the workplace neat. We even got compliments on this from some of the neighbors. Josh's woodworking is true craftsmanship. Our kitchen design featured a number of tricky curving areas, all of which he implemented beautifully and with nice fit and finish. Anders is both flexible and a straight shooter. We extensively remodeled an older house, and made changes and additions to our plan along the way. He incorporated the changes smoothly and charged fairly for added work.

They are true artists who worked with us to create a unique, practical, and well-constructed space. I am so glad we didn't go to some bargain basement builder who would have left us with a marginal product that needed constant upkeep.
