ARC Design-Build offers complete design and construction services, including new construction as well as remodeling and additions. Our focus is on contemporary design using innovative processes and materials. For each project, we strive to incorporate the client's design aesthetic into the context of the site and neighborhood. ARC Design-Build is a member of the Huntsville/Madison County Builders Association, the National Association of Home Builders, Remodelers Advantage, and the U.S. Green Building Council.

Owner/President Anders Adelfang holds a B.S. in Architectural Design from Auburn University and is licensed as a builder by the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board. He is an NCARB-certified intern architect who moved to design-build after several years in the architecture field. He started ARC Design-Build in 1997.

Richard Ashmead , Production and Estimating Manager, has worked in the construction field for over ten years. He holds a Bachelor's in Art from University of Alabama in Birmingham.

Josh Pike, Project Manager, is a master craftsman with 20 years of carpentry experience. He has been with ARC since its inception and oversees construction and building personnel. In addition to home construction, Josh creates unique custom furniture and home furnishings.

Cason Elam is our Lead Carpenter with eight years experience in construction. Cason is also a professionally trained and talented luthier.

Beau Barker is a carpenter with eight years experience in all phases of construction spanning framing to trim, commercial to residential. Beau is originally from Connecticut and has lived in Alabama for 4 years.

Chris Ambrose is ARC's Accounting & Payroll Administrator. She has worked in the financial field since 1989, after realizing a BA in English from the University of Virginia was not a lucrative career choice after all. She has been with the company since 2005.

Osie Adelfang is ARC's Marketing and Finance Director. Just when she gets lost in the numbers part of running a business, a marketing project comes along where she gets to take a close look at the company's projects, and she's once again blown away by the talent and creativity of our design and production teams. She holds a BA in Journalism from the University of Massachusetts and an MFA from Antioch University.

Geoffry Street is the newest addition to our team.  Along with his more than 12 years of AutoCAD drafting experience, he holds an AS in Multimedia and Web-Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.  He brings with him not only experience in Architectural drafting, but has specialized knowledge of interior casework and millwork design.
